The Finns of ENCE eSports have replaced fnatic as the ninth and final team in ESEA Invite Season 15, which is starting any day now. fnatic announced their intention to drop out of ESEA Invite a while back in order to focus on the many LAN tournaments coming up later this fall, including ESWC, MSI Beat it! and DreamHack Winter. Originally the replacement team was announced to be AWESOME, who placed second in the vote while still possessing Jacob "Pimp" Winneche in the roster, but the Danes have also turned down the spot.
ESEA has now decided to invite ENCE eSports, who recruited Niko "naSu" Kovanen to replace Harri "reVicer" Kukkonen last week, as the ninth and final team for ESEA Invite Season 15. ENCE have yet to debut with Kovanen on the roster, but with Kukkonen they won ESPC #3 in Helsinki and with help from Joel "jOELZ" Aalto they also upset NiP in an RC EMS One Cup.
The full lineup of teams, cut to just nine in total for this season to allow each team to play everyone twice during the regular season, is now as follows:
ENCE's first week matches in ESEA will be against Copenhagen Wolves and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' Universal Soldiers on de_inferno. You can find their full schedule here. |
